Bags of Change

Betty makes the cloth bags that help keep soapberries in place in

your washing machine. This allows her to help her family in

a practical way from her home.

We are trying to create maximum impact for soapberries in the communities they come from. Whenever we can, we source the products, and packaging as close to the source as we can.

That means that our laundry bags cost a tad more than the mas-produced bags that we can get from other places, but it also means that a stay at home mom is able to help feed her kids and help out the neighbors.

Little bags add up to big change. Plus, you don't have to hunt for your soapberries!

Sapindus Saponaria is related to the sapindus mucorosi, but is a distinct species. These have all been called soapberries, or soap nuts.  They contain non-ionic surfactants, and can be called natural cleansers, hypoallergenic laundry detergents, Eco-friendly cleaners, and entirely natural soaps.
